Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

JECL: Journal of English Classroom Learning and Instruction applies a peer-review process to ensure the academic quality, originality, relevance, and integrity of manuscripts submitted for publication.

Criteria: originality, relevance to scope, methodological rigor, validity of findings, ethical conduct, clarity, and currency of references.

Decision: the editor decides based on reviewer reports (accept, minor revision, major revision, reject), not by vote counting. Conflicting reviews → third reviewer. Target time from submission to decision: 8–12 weeks.
