Corrections and Retractions

JECL: Journal of English Classroom Learning and Instruction is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. Corrections or retractions may be issued when errors, inaccuracies, or serious concerns are identified in a published article.

Correction (Erratum/Corrigendum): for honest errors that do not invalidate the findings; published as a linked notice, with the original article updated and version-noted.

Retraction: for unreliable findings (misconduct or major honest error), plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research; the article remains online watermarked "RETRACTED" with a linked retraction notice stating the reason.

Expression of concern: issued while an investigation is ongoing.

Authority rests with the Editor-in-Chief after consultation with the Editorial Board, following COPE Retraction Guidelines. Authors may request corrections through the journal email.
