Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of JECL: Journal of English Classroom Learning and Instruction comprises active scholars, teacher educators, and practitioners with recognized expertise in classroom pedagogy, English language teaching (ELT), applied linguistics, curriculum development, and instructional evaluation.

The Editorial Board oversees the scholarly rigor, publication standards, and strategic growth of the journal. Board members are responsible for preliminary manuscript screening, appointing qualified peer reviewers, determining final publication outcomes, and upholding the journal’s ethical standards and editorial guidelines.

The governance structure of the Editorial Board encompasses the following positions:

·       Editor-in-Chief: Directs the overall academic orientation and editorial policy, holds primary oversight of the review process, and makes definitive decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection.

·       Managing Editor: Oversees day-to-day editorial operations, supervises manuscript tracking, facilitates correspondence among authors, reviewers, and editors, and manages production timelines.

·       Section Editors: Supervise the evaluation and review progression of submissions aligned with specific thematic domains within the journal's scope.

·       Editorial Board Members: Lend disciplinary expertise, assist in identifying qualified reviewers, advise on complex editorial evaluations, and contribute to the journal’s policy and development.

·       Editorial Assistants: Handle operational, technical, and layout logistics throughout the submission, review, and final publishing phases.

Members of the Editorial Board must adhere strictly to editorial neutrality, manuscript confidentiality, impartiality, and scholarly integrity. Editors are obligated to declare any competing financial, professional, or personal interests and must recuse themselves from processing or evaluating any submission where such conflicts exist.

To maintain transparency, JECL publishes the complete name, institutional affiliation, country of origin, editorial designation, and specific research areas of each board member on its official website.
